Trip to Israel

At the beginning of April, the Holy Spirit put it in my heart to go to Israel with the GodTV tour. As the bookings were closed, I needed a miracle to get there. God not only provided a place on the tour, last minute plane tickets but also he provided the finances for the whole trip!

This was not just the usual Holy Land tour but a prophetic prayer assignment for Israel and the nations. Our  trip included prayer and worship at The Call, Jerusalem - a 12hr prayer and fasting day for the nations. We found out later that 12 presidents and world leaders met in the same room 2 days later!

We also attended a worship and prophetic concert on the top of Mt Carmel with Kim Clement. What an experience of heaven! We are entering a season of heavenly manifestation and visitation.

Two thousand of us gathered at the foot of the temple mount to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Israel as a nation. It was a powerful night of declaration and prophecy, right in the midst of the Arabs and the Jews. Even our Israeli tour guide was impacted by the night, and many felt a spiritual breakthrough in the atmosphere.

The first morning as I came down to pray in the lobby I had a tremendous vision of the angels pouring into Jerusalem and surrounding it in a ring. Then I saw the glory of God pouring down into the city. I believe the angels are there preparing the way for the coming of the King to his city, and the glory of God will be radiant at that time.

David's Citadel                                                                                                 Old City, Jerusalem

Jerusalem is an amazing city, where the past, present and future collide. The city has a destiny which is rapidly drawing to fulfilment. Biblical prophecy is being fulfilled in our days and it is exciting to see with your own eyes these Scriptures coming to pass.

The Jews returning to the land, the cities being inhabited, the vegetation returning, the return of the shekel, the revival of the Hebrew language, were all prophesied by the Old Testament prophets. Israel is the fig tree budding, prophesied by Jesus in Luke.

As the shekinah glory once dwelt in the Temple in Jerusalem there is a residing Presence of God in the city. When I went to the Western Wall to pray I heard the voice of God so clearly. His presence was also manifest in the Upper Room, and on the Mount of Olives.

Mount of Olives

The Mount of Olives, located to the east of the old city, is a portal or doorway to heaven. It is where the glory of God came down then entered the Temple. It is where that same glory dwelt when it departed the Temple. Jesus spent time on the Mount praying, sometimes all night. He taught his disciples there and spent his last night on the Mount in the garden of Getsemane. He ascended into heaven from there and it is the place to which his feet will return.

From the Mount of Olives you can see the Temple Mount, where the Third Temple will be rebuilt and the Golden Gate though which the King of Kings will enter. It is a place of 24/7 prayer and worship, preparing the way for the Kings return. I had a wonderful vision from here as I looked out over the graves on the Mount I saw the dead raising to life, and ascending to meet the King.

Galillee

We travelled to the Sea of Galillee, seeing the towns and villages where Jesus lived, taught and did many miracles.

Dead Sea

Salty and barren, the Dead Sea and surrounding wilderness seems devoid of life.

However there are some who thrive in this environment!
