"In January 2002 I became very ill, and was unable to do very much.
Blood tests showed that my liver was affected and I was diagnosed in March with
auto immune hepatitis. there is no cure for this disease and it is degenerative.
I received prayer for several months and by June 2002 my test results were
normal and my liver is fine. Praise God!"
Stroke
Victim healed
In
2003 Sue Reid stepped out of her car onto the nature strip in front of her home.
She suffered a massive stroke and collapsed on the ground. She was rushed to
Liverpool Hospital (Sydney) by ambulance. That night we had church meeting and
everyone prayed for her. At the time Sue was not a Christian, nor a
church-goer.
After
prayer meeting I went to the emergency ward. Sue was lying on the hospital bed
having tests done to her. She was very confused and distraught. Her mouth
was drooling, and she had obviously suffered paralysis down one side. Her family
were gathered around the bedside very anxious for her.
I
said to the doctor that I had come to pray for her. I prayed briefly the prayer
of faith for her healing in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.
Three
days later I visited her. The immediate improvement was incredible. Her speech
had returned. She had regained almost total use of her paralysed side. The
doctor came and said to her: "May
I shake your hand? I want to congratulate you on a remarkable
recovery."
That
day Sue also received Jesus Christ into her heart as Saviour. She has no more
stroke symptoms. In April 2007 she was also instantly healed of a serious
irregular heart beat. She also had a serious blood thickening disease. It was so
bad that in 2006 her blood became as thick as paste and the doctors were not
able to extract any blood into a syringe. She was having constant blood tests to
monitor the situation. In July 2006 she testified that her blood is now
virtually normal. Praise God.
She is part of the church leadership team, and teaches
Sunday School. What God has done in her life is miraculous. To God be all the
Glory.
Healing of depression
and schizophrenia
Genevieve requested prayer, but did not share
her need. The
Holy Spirit revealed to me a picture of a metal box with bolts, representing her
mental bondage.
I
saw the Holy Spirit undoing those bolts and setting her mind free. I also
discerned an evil spirit afflicting the mind. As we prayed in the mighty Name of
Jesus, Genevieve, was set free.
A
month later she shared this testimony (with some editing).
"I started hearing
voices when I was 15 years old. I suffered depression and lacked motivation. As
a young girl I was confused and depressed. The voices in my head would
swear and speak against the church. I was depressed and didn't feel good about
myself.
When
I received prayer a month ago. I felt something touch my head. I knew that it
was the Holy Spirit. God healed me instantly. Since then I have no more voices,
they are gone completely. Praise the Lord.
It
is the biggest miracle of my life. I have believed in God all my life. And now I
feel closer to the Lord even more. He made me really well. Alleluia."
This is a wonderful
miracle. Genevieve suffered from depression and schizophrenia for most of her
life.
