Deliverance from Bondages
Our body is intended to be the temple of the Holy
Spirit. However, Satan seeks to invade the body of the believer and unbeliever
alike. Demons can enter through our own sin or that of our ancestors, through
our mind, touching dead bodies, shock or grief, accidents, habits, soul ties,
transference, witchcraft, unforgiveness and rejection, spirits of tradition,
pride, religion, the occult, ethnic traditions, false religions, heresies, and
curses.
Jesus Christ , through his death on the cross, has
defeated Satan and his demons, and through the authority of Jesus, his shed
blood and the power of the Holy Spirit, we can be set free from every curse,
affliction, bondage and oppression.
"And having disarmed the powers
and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them,
triumphing over them by the cross."
Colossians 2:15
Follow these steps:
1. Humble yourself
2. Confess your sins.
3. Renounce all forms of idolatry, false religions and sins of
ancestors, and curses. This step includes removing and
destroying all jewellery, charms, idols, carvings etc.

4. Repent of sin, and turn away from it.
5. Forgive all those who have hurt you, or those against whom you
hold resentment.
6. Call on the name of the Lord and plead the blood of Jesus.
7. Pray the prayers below out loud.
8. Expel spirits by breathing out or coughing.
Deliverance prayer
I plead the blood of Jesus Christ and apply it to my
family, self and all my belongings in Jesus name. I bind, break and release, take
authority over all demonic powers and spirits of control.
I, ................................, confess
Jesus Christ to be my personal Saviour and repent of my sins and any action,
thought, attitude or habit that does not glorify Jesus Christ. I renounce the
devil and all of his works, influences, bondages, dominations, afflictions,
infirmities, poverty and lack in my life. I also take responsibility and
accountability over every iniquity, transgression and sin that I, my parents or
ancestors may have committed, that caused bondages, hindrances or dominations to
my life. I ask forgiveness and cleansing and total release from every curse that
could ever come upon me. I believe the Lord took on himself every curse from me
on the cross. He is now Lord of my whole life. By faith, I receive my release in
Jesus name.

By the blood of Jesus and in the name of
Jesus, I bind, break, renounce and release every spirit of jealousy, lying, all
familiar spirits, perversion, heaviness, whoredom, infirmity, deaf and dumb
spirits and all the associated underlying roots, including spirits of fear,
pride, unbelief, bondage, anti-Christ, including all associated family roots and
connecting forces of darkness, causing disturbances, split personalities,
imaginations, rebellion, memory problems, oppression, confusion, tradition,
self-interest, higher learning together with any obstruction from ethnic roots.
In Jesus name, I also take authority over and break, bind and
renounce any occult, witchcraft and masonic curses including each and every
degree of masonic steps and totally binding all the powers of darkness and
connections, being totally free in the mighty name of the risen Jesus Christ.
Father, I thank you by faith, for total release and freedom.
Father, I am now able to forgive,
...................., and thank you for forgiveness and for your total release
in Jesus name from the grip of imaginations and accusations of the evil one and
the completeness of your inner healing and cleansing, because I am clean in your
sight. I now forgive myself for all I have done in sinning against You, myself
and others. I release myself completely from bondages to people, soul ties and
past events. I claim Romans 8:1 in the name of Jesus. I understand forgiveness
to others is basic to all spiritual blessings. Thank you Father, in Jesus name,
